Tiler Peck

Mr. Valentino's love of the ballet is no secret. But his love of one ballerina in particular is a fact less well known. Tiler Peck, principal dancer at the New York City Ballet, has officially joined the Valentino "tribe." In March, Peck paid a visit to Rome to appear in the Les Etoiles Gala, a night of dance dedicated to Mr. Valentino, and for her pas de deux in "This Bitter Earth," donned a costume designed Mr. Valentino himself. (The look was first worn by Wendy Whelan in the "This Bitter Earth" debut at the New York City ballet in 2012.)

Naturally, Mr. Valentino and Mr. Giammetti were in the audience for Peck's performance in Rome, as they were in December when she danced in "The Nutcracker" in New York, and as they were, likewise, when her husband—former NYCB dancer-turned-Broadway star Robbie Fairchild—opened his hit American in Paris show in London. But the friendship between Peck and Mr. Valentino goes beyond the stage. Peck and Fairchild have been guests at both the Chateau Wideville and on the TM Blue yacht—and it's a good bet that Peck, who designs her own line of dance gear, has taken advantaging of Mr. Valentino's fashion expertise while she enjoys his hospitality. Perhaps future collaborations between these two new friends will be in the offing…
